Our Vision: Building Community to Reach the Community.

A desire to deepen the community within our church and serve the community around our church. Expressing Jesus to the community through experiencing Jesus in community with other believers.

The Community Worship Center family is reaching out in ministry beyond the boundaries of our local community. Our giving reaches around the world. The people of CWC are utilizing their gifts as good stewards of Christ's Kingdom and we are blessed and amazed to see what God has done through the faithful support of the Church and community the last 12 months.

This ministry is touching the lives of thousands each and every day through not only local ministries and world mission endeavors, but also in a very practical way by providing shelter, food, clothing, medical supplies and educational materials for many around the world who are less fortunate.

This includes: thousands of orphaned and abandoned children that are fed and cared for each day in Kenya; churches that are being built in nations throughout the world; additional children's homes that are being established; retirement facilities and assisted living complexes for the elderly; areas devastated by natural disasters and tragedy that have been rebuilt and helped; and so much more.

Our Mission: CWC is a worshiping and praying community of disciples committed to serving others and reaching out with the Good News of God’s love.

Each part of the mission includes a vision to become what God wants us to be:

Worshiping and praying: cultivate worship-saturated prayer that releases God’s power for growth and harvest.

Community: develop a true connected community of believers who support and encourage one another.

Disciples: grow people in Christ likeness through God’s Word and practical training to abide in the Word, love others and bear fruit.

Serving others: assisting each other in using our God-given gifts to serve others inside and outside the church.

Reaching out: intentionally go outside the walls of the church to influence the community for Christ.

The Good News of God’s Love: share the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ through actions and words.

Furthermore this statement reflects our desire to be a “Spirit Filled, Spirit-led, life-giving, purpose-driven” church. The mission includes God’s five key purposes for His church: worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry and evangelism whether across the street or around the world.
